Rules

1.           All participants (except amateurs??) must own  their corresponding tag ,issued by any of the National or Territorial Skating Federations.
2.           The organisation will make sure that all non-federate skaters will take part in the promotion races. In order to carry this out, the Clubs or Skaters  that inscribe in this category will agree to their personal details being sent on to the  insurance company in charge of the event. No enrolment of non- federate skaters  will be admitted after the closing date shown  in the inscription section.
3             Any complaints, during the competition, must be  via a written document, by a recognized delegate of the Club.
 4    The organisation reserves the right to modify anything it considers  to the benefit of  the optimum running of the competition or of the organisation. All of which will be  communicated to the corresponding delegates.
5      Inscription alone  automatically implies the acceptance of the rules.
6      The trials will be arbitrated by  licensed judges from the Spanish Federation of Skating.
7      The Prizegiving ceremony will be held after the final competitions on Sunday,17th July, followed by a  closing party ,the venue of which  has yet to be determined .
8      The Group E  Category  will  depend on the number of entrants competing.If the minimum number of competitiors is not met, they will race together with other categories, classifying individually. In the Sunday Marathon, in any case, they would race 3900 metres along with  Promocion D.

   COMPETITON RULES
1.       The Spanish Skating Federations General Competition Rulebook will be applied to any unforeseen matters in these rules.
2.       All  sponsored racers will be able to compete with  either their sponsors’ or professional teams’ clothing.
3.       For the 100metres race for the Juvenile, Junior and Senior categories, each competitor will be individually timed. The first nine in each category will go through to the semifinals, which will  be organized in three series:
           1st Series=1st,6th 7th
           2nd Series=2ND,5th,8th
           3rdSeries=3rd,4th,9th
     The first of each series  will go on to compete in  the final. The second of each series will be classified “in exequo” distributing the points between  4th, 5th and 6th place and likewise for the third place winners who will compete for 7th,8th and 9th place

4.       In the Australian Style Elimination race, all  skaters from every category will start off together.. Depending on the number of participants ,the last competitor to go through the finish line in each lap or every alternate lap will be eliminated until only two competitors, are left on the track, who will then compete against each other for the last 2 laps .
5.       In the relay event (USA style) for the junior category, each club may submit as many teams as they want, as long as they can be distinguished by some type of garment or clothing that clearly identifies the team. Any skater who does not have enough skaters in their same club to be able to take part in the relays, can team up with skaters from other clubs, as long as they all wear a similar attire (shirts, bodices and jackets). In the case of the numbers of participants not being a multiple of three, one or two teams of four competitors may be entered, the final decision being made by the organisers. (The competition consists of 12 laps, then the teams with 3 runners, will complete 4 relays, whilst the teams with 4 skaters will complete 3 relays). The system of awarding points for the test is identical to the rest of the racers, assigning the same points, corresponding to the position obtained, to the runners of the same team.
